Nocturnal Specials have now all sold out. I have moved the description and photos to the archive page.

Nocturnal Specials

After a lengthy delay while I was working on commissions for other presses, the 26 specials of “Nocturnal” have finally been bound. These have been printed on larger paper (approximately 13 x 18cm) and casebound with a black cloth spine, a cover paper of marbled paper from Payhembury Papers, and a wood engraved label. Each book has a paper folder pasted onto the back endpaper with a sheet of text and four signed proofs of the following engravings from the book: Badger, Nightjar, Hedgehog and Barn Owl. The specials are lettered A – Z.

This photograph shows a special, together with the contents of the folder, and one of the smaller regular copies in its card covers and marbled paper wrapper.
